Hello: The Avon Lady ding dong where are you?
Where's the Avon Lady? ...
Did I miss something, a flame war, a rude remark, another lady gone is one thing, but we can't let the Avon Lady go missing for this long Are you traveling? Two weeks is a long time ... come on back we forgive you for being Jewish, okay? |
Yeah, I wondered where she'd gone....been waiting for the news that a woman from Israel had been given the Medal of Honour by the US for the recorded killing of Osama Bin Laden.... :hmm:

Worry
Hope she is OK.:sunny: perhaps the tidy bowl men are keeping her busy.:rotfl:
|
I'm sure when she does reappear we will all notice!:yep::lol:
She must be building up her quick links catalogue! |
Last I heard AL was in the UK wasn't she? She is probably still in a queue at the airport:rotfl: Given the paranoid security levels there are at UK airports, plus the even more paranoid levels the El-Al terminals operate under, it may take some time, and clearly switching onto a PIA or Emirates flight is not going to sit well with her.
LOL, that's just reminded me of something. I swear this is true BTW. Someone I vaguely know went flying for Emirates, and he left the other pilot in the cockpit while he went back to take a leak or something. Upon returning to the cockpit, he found the aircraft on autopilot, with the pilot he left there behind the seats, on the floor on a prayer mat worshipping, it being the required time of day. He apparently damn near crapped himself when he saw that, as this was not too long after 9-11! Not dangerous unless something went wrong of course, but hardly on the alert for any problems either, quite apart from the fact that one pilot on the flight deck on his own is supposed to go on oxygen in case of a decompression. :D Chock |
I'm sure shes chastizing someone with sarcasm and a bit of a superiority complex somwhere...but who knows.
