Radio Log NEWS
 

Many of you are aware of the work done on the Radio Log Final, and an upomming release of Radio Log eXpansion. Here's a few notes on progress.
I had hoped for a end of Aug release. Not going to happen, but for good reason. I have added or am using an additional resource which will give even more messages. The eXpansion was thought to add somewhere in the 1500 range of more radio messages in addition to the final log release. Well, I'm currently at the 1700+ range and estimating about 40% complete. Also I've figgured out a way to sort for certain dups and in doing so found several errors with the timer settings on the final log.
So, I'll be fixing these and re-releasing the Radio Log Final, that should be done sooner then later. But the eXpansion has at least another 2, maybe three months including formating. I may have bitten into alot to chew on but I do hope the end radio messages will be enjoyed by many a SHiii player. IRL a few things have also taken time, new granddaughter for one, another is moving and perhaps starting college, work ect.
Once I have a better idea on times I'll post more jazz on what the eXpansion contains.
In breif: BdU reports, somewhat daily operations, success reports, more u-boat to bdu messages- bdu t0 u-boat messages, intercepts, sinkings (SSS-SoS) jazz like that.
From '39 (start) till '45 - the end of the war. All possible accuracy maintained from sources. From what I have been testing so far I've discoved quite the added communication emmersion into the game.
A combination of the Radio Log Final aNd the eXansion should yeild 4,500 - 5000 messages est.

Late war years it'll just be like "Iron Coffins" with messages coming in from sinking U-boats...something else to scare the crap outta you in these difficult years! :doh:

Canovaro; I realy don't have anymore information as of yet about the eXpansion due to it being in progess. But I have fixed the Radiolog_Final_2006! Posted about in in the workshop section, you can d/l and take a look at it here:
