Is it possible to change flotilla to 23rd / 29th ?
 

Its 7th Jan. 1942 and im in 7th / 13th flotilla. Im in home base (St. Nazaire) before mission. If i use the phone and try to change flotilla sometime there is a message "new base (null)" and game is crashed. Other times the request is accepted but back in the office lower left corner is written im in 1st flotilla now.

Im using GWX 1.3 with SH3 Commander.

My crew definitely needs some tan :sunny:

Any ideas?

Just transfered from 1st Flotilla without problems. A patrol earlier I've tried without results but this time: new base La Spezia. Maybe there is a date problem and something crashes? Don't remember from when 23rd is available. Maybe it's the sh3cmd?

PS I thought that I'll be able to pass through Gibraltar but no... it took 1 day to teleport my boat from Brest to La Spezia... and on last patrol I was near Gibraltar so I could just sneak through and dock in La Spezia, than click transfer... :damn:

This problem usually occurs when a non-GWX compatible en/de/fr_menu.txt file finds its way into the game. "new base (null)" means it's not finding the Salamis base entry (which is a GWX addition).

Have you installed any mods, especially ones that modify this file? Did you roll back SH3Cmdr prior to installing GWX? You know, the usual questions.

(FYI, in GWX 23/29 Flotilla becomes playable in Oct 1941, in stock SH3 it's Dec 1941, so it's not a date conflict/problem.)

I have rolled back before but i will check for the menu text file tonight.

"My favourites Dials" Mod modifies the mentioned text files. I deactivated it and it worked!

Cool. I dunno if there is a GWX compatible version of that mod. :hmm:

It is supposed to be compatible with GWX 1.03 and i didnt have any other problems with it so far.
