Do you think there will be another SH game in the atlantic?
 

I know the lads from the Atlantic sharks mod are making SHIV into the atlantic. But I was wondering if you guys thought Ubi might go back to the atlantic for "SHV". After the initial failure of SHIV there might not be another SH game, call it wishfull thinking. If you look at it though, there seem to be more people looking at SHIII + GWX than SHIV atm. Do you think that if Ubi did the next one right and actually finished it without a crazy amount of game killing bugs (VERY wishfull thinking I know lol) they would set it in the atlantic. I love the graphics in SHIV, but think the immersion and gameplay isn't a patch on SHIII modded to include GWX and a few other little bits and pieces.

I would love another atlantic SH. The ghraphics of SH4 and the gameplay of SH3
would be a perfect match, but as you said wishful thinking........

I hope there will be another Atlantic silent hunter. I wish they would make an Atlantic version with allied subs.

I agree sh4 has out of this world graphics and sh3 runs incredibly great.

IF they were to release a new SH3 upgraded to SH4 graphics and gameplay standards, and IF the crew management was upgraded similarly, and IF the interiors were fixed so things were where they belong, and IF it were as moddable and adaptable as they are now, then I would certainly buy it.

If they did do it I'm sure that most of my other ifs would be there, since they've already done such a good job.

I just hope the series continues, where it takes place, doesn't really matter.

Hell be damned before SH4's graphics come back. I have an 8800 Ultra, and the bastard lags like HELL.

What's your CPU? How much RAM do you have? I run SHIV at max, and have yet to lag, even in port.

Not so much another Atlantic Silent Hunter, I would think they would/could do something a little more modern, maybe not with today's subs, maybe some form of Cold War type scenario something fictional like an expanded version of the submarine plot line from Tom Clancy's "Red Storm Rising".

CPU is an Intel Core Duo AMD 64 4200+ Processors. RAM is 2048 MB HD and 360 GB.

I don't know if atlantic in allied subs would be much fun. Hardly any axxis shipping around.

Only in the med.sea there was some action using allied subs. For the rest many unsucsefull missions ie no enemy shippings

I think they ought to move to World War I... or start a game themed on SHIPS this time instead of subs. Perhaps make it World War I, though (Battle of Jutland, anyone?). Think of the cool ships there would be... AND the even cooler command room looks!

i want a SH game with different campaigns for different ppl. like a German,Brittish,American AND japanese campaign. all fully detailed and most important FINNISHED :yep:

BUT WHAT ABOUT FOCUSING ON SHIP WARFARE?! Think of it, it would be like the SH3 Crew Management screen, only a battleship, or carrier, or cruiser, or destroyer. Sinking would be even better!:stare:
