patrol won't end.
So this is actually my first time asking a question. I finnished a long, lengthy, 2 month (real time) campaign across the Bismark sea and now have returned to port. Unfortunately the game will not allow me to end my patrol, though is says all my goals have been completed. I don't want to loose everything I just accomplished over the past 2 months and was wondering if there is a solution to this problem.
I am assuming you will all want to know my specs and mods so here it goes: nvidia 8800gts 640 p4 quad core 2.466 mods: 2/3rds mod by Payoff realistic engine 0.9 Sun mod ultimate sound living breathing ocean real navigation mod natural sinking mechanics 2.6 SI interior mods (remodeling) RFB 1.31 |
sometime during your patrol, you got a change of base. look in...d@mm can't find where it is, but there's a file that'll tell you where your new base is. there're other thread here about this, so searching shouls locate it
|
that thread doesn't mention the name of the file, unless I'm looking at the wrong one
|
found where to find the file. mydocuments/SH4/data/cfg/savegames/... then look in the last folder there for: CareerTrack.upc it'll be in there somewhere, prolly a line called "base change" or something similar

|
yanno, one would think that 1.3 woulda fixed this as well:doh:

Yes, bit of a nuisance gettin back to find out you're no longer wanted. I've created a shortcut of the careerTrack file to my desktop and check it out now and again to see if anything has changed.

Everytime i have been on patrol i get a message to say my base has been changed to whatever the next base is . I read my messages .
|
well, i kinda find evading DDs cr@pping all over me a bit more urgent than reading messages while at 300ft, or prosecuting the convoy/TF they're supposed to be protecting:ping:

But... somtimes the message is never sent :hmm: |
