Uboat War Badge Missing
 

Ok so im going on my 15th patrol and i still havent recieved my U-boat War Badge? Wats the deal with that. I have both Iron Crosses and the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds, But not the U-Boat War Badge? Is there a way i can get one by going into the CFG files and changing somethings?

The simplest way is to use SH3 Commander and award it to yourself :arrgh!:

SH3Cmdr doesn't allow editing *player* medals - that would be blatant cheating. ;)

I've forgotten now how to change Basic.cfg to ensure that you "naturally" get the badge earlier, but it's easy enough to add through a simple file change.

Open your career's "Careers_0.cfg" file and look for the last block (assuming you haven't just reverted to a previous save).

Look for the 10 "Medal*=" lines.

Medal0=4 ;gives you Iron Cross Class 2
Medal1=5 ;gives you Iron Cross Class 1
Medal2=6 ;gives you Knight's Cross
Medal3=7 ;gives you Knight's Cross w/ Oak Leaves
Medal4=8 ;gives you Knight's Cross w/ Oak Leaves and Swords
Medal5=9 ;gives you Knight's Cross w/ Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds
Medal6=10 ;gives you Knight's Cross w/ Golden Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds
Medal7=1 ;gives you U-Boat Badge
Medal8=2 ;gives you U-Boat Front Clasp
Medal9=3 ;gives you German Cross
