What does this screenshot of the map supposed to be telling me...

You have several sonar contacts coming from your starboard side. 30 deg to 57 deg.

I'd watch them to see what way the are heading and try to cut them off. Only problem is morning is here or a few hours away so you may be seen if you flank it on the surface.

It also tells you based on the green torp line ... that if you fire that fish, you are not going to hit anything.

Usually on my screen .... the blue lines more often than not indicate Japanese capital ships (DDs) most of the time, I'd say you're looking at a good sized task force.

They may be friendlies.

donut how do you know one has been visualy sighted?

Look at the text message:

"Ship spotted, Sir. Bearing 046. Long range."

Seemed like a straightfoward question to me.

I dont think so sounds to me like he's saying I started this thread for a joke..I started it because I didnt know something....:x
