Who's got the Highest Rez?

Can any Kaleun crank their resolution upto 2560x1600?:o

Following the latest firmware update for my PS3, I can now have custom wallpaper and guess what, I want some SH3/GWX screens at my HD rez.

Can anyone get this high and would you be willing to take some screens and upload the BMP/TGA files? Harbour Life & pretty explosions would be cool but I'm not picky.:p

I know this might be a shot in the dark but it's worth asking.

:yep:

Still want some screenies though, they're not as crystal clear when they get scaled up.

I know it's a tall order.

One of these days I'd like to get 3 LCD screens and place them side by side. From pictures I've seen it's awesome for flight and racing sims. Hell, it's just awesome in general

Mine res is currently 1280x1024, looks great on my 19" LCD Monitor:up:

Yes please.:)

This might be closest I can get to my preferred resolution and I might even be able to scale those up while maintaining the clarity.

If you can, please keep them in the original capture format.

Thank you.

That's the point right? ;) It turns out that nobody else plays in this rez, haven't found anyone yet... This is all what's left, need to do some new ones. #1 was on my wallpaper!

Thank you very much for those. It's a good starting point.:)

Yeah, the original capture format, whether BMP or TGA, contains more embedded info than JPEG and this might allow me to upscale them better.

In your own time, my friend, no rush.
Thanks again.:D

If I make something real flashy I'll bring it on.

This IS the org format ;) 100% qual jpg and from my exp this format is enough for all the photos etc. While saving TGA it generated files of 6 or more mb, it took eternity, crashed most of the time and those could be viewed only in photoshop so... ;) I use a program RapidShot for screens.

Irfanview is quite capable of opening TGA, nice little program i use for image viewing

Yeah, I play 1680x1050 also, native res on my 21'' wide. That and 4x AA makes it nice. Have one blowning up pic (Sutherland mag hit) but no idea of a site that hosts 5.6MB files :o (.BMP)

Wouldn't mind that myself :)

Save it as a jpeg using infranview, quality 80 or so and it should be under 500kb and you'll struggle to tell the difference.

80% can produce noise, use 100%, it want be much bigger.

Infranview... hate it, I use built in Vista viewer and love the slideshow which produces stunning quality zoom!
