[WIP] CapZap's Emblems pack v1.1
 

Moin: I am currently working on my 2nd emblems pack, which should be ready for next Sunday or Monday. I wanted to know if some of you have any special requests for emblems and if you would like to see them included in this pack.
For those who want, please post here and make sure to inlude your pic.

I have some off this site thanks to some kind members of this board,perhaps there are some that might interest others,since the germans where so in to heraldy and knights and stuff,just an idea http://www.modaruniversity.org/Heraldry.htm seems suitable for the conn of a u-boat

CapZap1970 - could you incorporate real u-boot insignia to your pack, from here:

I like playing with real, historical insignias for each uboot.

Yes. It will be done, but not just yet. i will try to make the Hi Res version for the true u-boat insignia. ;)
Thanks a lot for the link nickbear... Many coats of arms wil lbe incorporated in V1.1, you can find some in V1.0 already

In another thread, someone posted this website that shows (in black and white) all of the U-boat emblems by hull number for each U-Boat. Would it be possible to make some of these (some are already included in SH3/GWX)?

Yes dmlavan, I will do those too, but They will not be included in my V1.1 pack, but in the next one. I need time to do that, since I want those emblems to be Hi-Res. :up:

I am a "spring chicken" in these emblems so... would like to know is some special file ?

Can't they simply be drawn on tower in respective sub skin ?
Would it cause some visual deformation "in game"...?

This thread shows off some emblems as well as containing some very detailled descriptions of how to make them and apply them to your sub. All you need to do is to place the files in your subemblems folder then select them in game when you are in port by selecting the special menu from the uboat mod screen.

Hey Cap, I like the U-108 emblem of the polar bear, it's paying tribute to my old high school mascot. That'd be cool to see.

I am about to finish my 2nd pack, and after it's done, I will start with the real u-boote emblems Hi-Res version... :up:
I will try with all my heart and soul to do as many as I can, hopefully all, or at least most of them will be done. At this point I don't know how many or which will be done, but I assure you that I will try to satisfy everybody.
