[REQ] Help with cameras.dat file
 

I'm trying to get Payoff's custom interior cams mod to work with KV29's real deck gun mod. Having no experience in modifying the .dat file for the cameras, I was wondering if anyone would be able to create (or explain how to go about creating) a file that combines the effects of the two mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well i guess you must find the changes from one mod file and copy them into the file of another mod.

get a clean "unchanged" version of that file and open it with a hexeditor. Compare it with amodified file and find the changes. Then just copy paste the changes to another file.

But if i was you id rather just PM the authors of the mods you want to combine and ask them what they have changed.

Just in case anyone is interested in using these two mods together and has not been able to do so, I finally figured out what needed to be done and did it. It seems to work fine with both mods.
