Friendly Fire????
 

Hi Everyone,
Plodding around the Rockall Bank I encountered what purported to be a friendly convoy, it was coloured blue on Gods Eye. I got sunk in very short order! Why would a friendly convoy be off the West coast of Britain? Or is this another of the tricks of GWX 1.03?
Next time I shoot first and ask questions afterwards, if I survive!

Hmmm OK was the convoy symbol round ?

And its only blue as you added the files back to make it so

if the convoy icon was looking like a sub's icon then you encountered a enemy convoy followed by a (few) sub(s)
if it was a blue square :hmm: then somthing is wrong

Yes it was a convoy symbol, large and round (and blue).
I checked through the scope after I dived rather hurriedly and saw several merchantmen and, obviously, escorts. what would I have changed to get the wrong colour? Other targets which I attacked were red.

its a standart colour from GWX i think.
but keep in mind, if its a convoy symbol,blue and round then its followed by other subs.
you should try to find the subs :yep:
usualy they are already destroyed :nope:

If you had a base GWX install it would have showed as a grey icon and you would have been more carefull

All it means is the radio report is coming from an axis sub trailing a convoy
