GWE download question
 

Where do I find GWE files in my silent hunter III folder? I'm curious if all my downloaded files made it successfully. GWE seems to be running ok, but it seems more files should be showing up in my SH3 folder than I can locate

The GWX files overwrite the original ones so you wont see any more in the SH3 folder bar the MODS folder and JSGME exe

If you have downloaded GWX correctly, you should have the following:

GWX.exe
GWX-1.bin
GWX-2.bin
GWX-3.bin
GWX-4.bin
GWX-5.bin

Make sure all these files are in the same folder and run the exe.

Then download the latest patch, GWX103 and run it. All of this needs to be done over a clean & fully patched version of Silent hunter.

You will know if GWX is installed when you get the howling wolf at startup.

As for trying to locate files in the SH3 Program folder, good luck, there's lots & lots of them.;)
