Radar scope

The scope in 1.3 has range of 8,000/20,000/60,000.
Is this meter or yards?

any help would nice.

its yards. The grafic shows M for meter because they forgot to change it. Its still yards when you use imperial system.

1 yard = 9,144 m
1 naut. mile = 1644 yards

Opps, you did make an error of factor 10!

1 yard = 0.9144 m

Therefore the difference between yards and meters are not so important, the difference is not great.

Also, 1 nautic mile = 2025.372 yards (ref Wikipedia).

Just hit late 42' in the USS Drum...got both Radars working.

Argus00 07-31-07 08:34 AM

I'm guessing the distances are in yards.

The "m" is for "magnification", I think.
