[REL] JSGME v1.7.0 now available!
JSGME v1.7.0 is now available from http://jonesoft.jaennahre.com (note the new address, although existing address will continue to work) or via JSGME's Update feature.
Changes: - Updated interface - Now clicking on a mod will display a brief description of the mod, where one exists (see Help file for more information) The second change is the one I like. It means that if a modder adds a file called <anything>.jsgme to the mod's documentation OR base folder, the user will see something like this when they click on the mod in JSGME... http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/8683/jsgmeqd8.jpg Of course, where modders don't add such a file, users can create one themselves to remind them of the key details. INSTALLATION You can simply install over your current version; disabling mods first is not necessary. If you use a language pack, please download the updated version from http://jonesoft.jaennahre.com This update joins recent updates to other software I have available via my webpage. Check it all out. |

Awesome man - don't know how you keep coming up with ways to improve this marvelous tool. This new "help/hint" feature will be a great aid - I've been looking for a good way to remind myself which mods need to be installed before or after other mods, and this should really fit the bill for that.
Very cool - thanks again for the great work  |
Thank you!

WOW! Relentless JScones

Thank you! None of the modding in game would be possible without this.
Jscones, are you still soliciting suggestions for future versions? I have been testing all kinds of different mods lately, but for actual play, I have a particular set I use again and again. A cool feature would be the ability to save a set. You could then unload some or all of it, test somethign else, then reload a saved set without having to hunt each mod down (and possibly the order as well). |
Superb!
Thank you |
Great tool:cool:
