AI improvements in 1.3?

I did not download the beta and I know it is mentioned in the readme, but has the AI jap convoy performance been improved?

yes alot.

single merchants will try to flee at max speed away from your sub when they spot you. Convois will evade a lot. Small convois will scatter after loosing some of their escort.

Enemy ships will spot you upon horizon during good visibilty conditions. Raising up periscope is dangerous. During daylight merchants can see it from 2 miles. Alerted escorts even better. Destroyers are a lot smarter, they drop their charges not where you are but where you are going to be... and much more.

And they shoot at your 'scope if you leave it raised. I got a message saying "we're under attack, Sir" while I was @ PD. I took a look around with the free cam and saw the battleship was firing at my perisope!!

I thought that was great.
