The milk cows in game work as same as port, if you use sh3 commander you will spend only 1 day (and time for repairse).
Just exit the game, rollback the data and then start the game again with commander ;) |

I just tried this for the first time docking at Corrientes off Gran Canaria.
I used SH3 commander to obtain a 2 day rest (i wanted to be kind to the poor crews, give them one night of Spanish food, a swim and chance to do some laundry) but my request for a new patrol grid failed. :hmm: Also the game then crashed after restarting in Corrientes Btw, dimitrius07, what do you mean by rollback the data? As i understand it, rollback in SHcommander refers to something quite different, which is to say the necessary removal of the effects of SHcommander prior to modding SH3 in any way. |
the rollback from SH3commander IS what we means :yep:
and it should be impossible to get a new patrol grid couse your still in your curent patrol (although thats the way BDU sees it) Mohr |

it was an intiative test. The smart ones paid locals to do the laundry and spent extra time getting first drunk and then sunburnt.
Now the u-boat is full of flowers, oranges, pineapples, jars of callas and locally cured jamon. We have also acquired several straw sunhats for those calm and sunny mid-atlantic watches, two guitars ( Torpedoman klaus Schracknepper claims to have picked up Flamenco during the Spanish civil war) and 120 crates of beer (we had to throw out half the deck-gun ammo to make space for it), and some joker bought a pair of fighting bull horns and is trying to persaude me to somehow fix them to the bow. The second leg of the patrol should be more pleasant than the first :D I think i get the rollback thing. You're saying you have to rollback your previous settiings before you make the changes to reduce your stay at the resupply ship, right? |

best to do is: rollback after every patrol  Mohr |
I've never done the resupply thing so am not aware of the procedure. I use SH3 Commander 2.7 and understood that if you docked at a resupply vessel you automatically only spend one day in port or am I completely wrong? Also, is it absolutely necessary to rollback SH3 Commander everytime you end a patrol (I know you have to rollback if you intend to make changes to SH3 itself)?
Your views appreciated. Nemo |
you wont get 1 day automaticaly...
and it isnt realy necesary to rollback every time Mohr |
There is also the SH3Patrol Mod:
"The addition of U-tankers to the NYGM-RUb, HT and other campaign files has resulted in the need for new patrol grids where ‘NULL’ would previously be assigned. SH3Patrol will reduce your time spent at an Ocean Tanker to 1 day, when run at the tanker base and will provide you with a new computed patrol square (replacing ‘NULL’) when run from any game saved at sea after departing from a tanker base or from a German port that is not your home base. You can also enter your own choice of new patrol square. By Stiebler." http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/patches05/SH3Patrol1_2A.zip |
