Crew calling out random numbers
Ok, this must be a bug. I'm still doing the tutorial missions, since I just started with this game. I'm doing the convoy one again, and I've been playing about 1 1/2 hour or so. Sank a destroyer and a few freighters. But now my crew starts calling out random numbers. Like: One, Five, Eight, Six, Nine etc. etc. over and over.
First I thought, ok maybe theyre getting tired and this is the game's way of telling me my crew is losing it. I checked the Crew panel, and I have some injured crew, but most health is not lower then 90, and morale is normal, so what the heck is going on? |
A few things. Corrupt install off the original disc...reinstall again. Use of a no crack can cause this also. Must use the original disc to load the game to play.

Ok, I'll do a reinstall. When I first installed the game, I didnt do a reboot, but applied the patches and then played, so maybe it got messed up that way.
Thanks :) |
lol are you sure you have original disc? If not go to the stores and buy the game.
This is their kind of piracy protection. If you dont have original you will hear crew counting random numbers and sometimes their eyes becoming huge and pope out of their heads and also flat crew like they were 2d. Its all their kind of piracy protection. |
I get tickled when I see one of these posts. Remember when SH4 was first released and a ton of people came on the forums complainng about random numbers, bug eyes, big hands, etc.? Too funny.
Here's a thought: Buy the game. And, no, I don't buy the urban legends of this happening to people who bought the game legitimately. :D |
< WOW... was that a mistake to post!>
