[REL]Torpedoes_US.zon Tweakfile for SH4 1.2

Hello everyone,

since i wasn't able to find a working tweakfile for the Torpedoes_US.zon file, i thought i give it a try and make an own one. I tested it for all torpedoes, except the Mark 16 one (not available in my savegame yet) and it worked pretty fine (SH 4 version 1.2).

You can download the tweakfile here: http://www.marcus-schnepf.de/Torpedo...Tweak File.zip

Hello Tomcat2702,

Are you sure about the torpedo numbers. I was under the impression T1=MK10, T2=MK14 and so on.

This tweak file did exist however. I believe NVDrifter made this one a while ago. Funny thing is, I am looking closely to the file to get some flaws and oddities out of there. I was convinced the order was set as stated above. If you're right I'll have to to a lot of redoing. Better to redo than release a faulty file.

Please advice.
Welcome to this forum by the way.

I've had Torpedoes_US.zon.txt before but it didn't had names for each type of the torpedoes. Tomcat2702's version does have those names (but I can't confirm if they are in the proper order).

The values in both versions are 100% exact the same tho'.

Yeah, I've noticed that. Well, only one way to find out as Tomcat's offline, testing, testing.................

Hello,

thanks for your feedback. I know the order of the torpedoes looks a bit shuffled, but it is the order as they are in the file. I tested it with putting 10000 effect strength for a torpedo and shooting at a New Mexiko Battleship which was in Pearl Harbor. Since i only beefed one torpedo type at a time, i'm very sure to have the right torpedo when the Battleship sank after one hit :D.

Great news, thanks a bunch, I'm using your tweaker now for this.
It baffled me a little, but things seem to add up now.:know:

Great you did this.

Now if you could redo the file so it was in the order... Takes like 1 min? ;) Then it'll be 100% perfect

The torpedo names should now appear in order, i reuploaded the file and the link in the first post still works.
