Trapped at sea
 

I've noticed something strange:

I'm in my 3rd patrol in the asiatic fleet where entire indonesia got run over by the Japanese. The Bases at Manila and Jawa are abandoned, so I went down to australia and neither Fremantle nor Brisbane gives me the Option "end patrol"


am I doing something wrong???

I had the same problem. Try this... refit at Fremantle, complete the new objective you receive and then head back to Fremantle.

I suspect that, if you are underwater when your base changes you don't get the notification at first. This worked for me.

Problem solved, Brisbane let me dock at 2. attempt (after sailing to Fremantle, trying there and then heading back with the intent to try at midway after refueling in brisbane.)
