The most heartwarming story I've seen.

Say what you will about Americans, I agree most of it is true, but the the American spirit and generosity to others never ceases to amaze me.

What a truly sweet woman. She must do so much for the familys of these poor servicemen - my heart goes out to her.

I had a massive lump in my throat whilst watching that - thanks Swifty:up:

I was very curious about her first name, Katiah. Never heard it before. Turns out it's derived from the Hebrew word "K'tziya", one of the spices included in the incense burned in the Temple in Jerusalem.

The English name for this plant family is Cassia, of the cinnamon family.

An unusual name for an unusually amazing lady.

That's really amazing. :yep:

There will be a special place in heaven for that special lady.

Very nice way to bring the talent of painting to help those that lost a son or daughter find peace.

Ya'll sound so encouraging on what this is ...

It's a news video about a lady who is an artist living alone on a goat farm in Utah who normally sells her paintings for considerable amounts of money, but at some point she decided to start doing paintings of various American soldiers who were killed and then is sending the paintings to the families at no charge just because she cares. At this point in time, she has done something like 250 or so, which by the way are very professionally done and look fantastic. It's just a profile of someone with a huge heart.

I wanted to give a gift of the heart, from one American to another. A gift that says, someone gives a damn. I love you, here, it's not much, but it's painted with love, of your dear one.
