is there a fix for the deck gun views being blocked
 
has anyone done anything to lower the radar mast just a little so it doesnt block the gunsight views from the deck guns?

you mean the rotating T head at port? thats part of the hydrophone, I donīt think we can move that.

yes that is what i am talking about. i cant believe that in real life when you man the deck gun you would be prevented from seeing what you are shooting at.

hell gimme a phone book to sit on or a high chair even lol.

if the hydrophone is just a texture like the rudder or propeller there must be a way to fix it somehow. i dont have the skill for such things but i was hoping a talented person would want to fix this somehow, even if it is just making the gunsight view higher(put me in that high chair lol).

its not just a texture, is 3d modeled.
and yes, perhaps is a bit oversized, or the camera is too low.

edit: go to the ss bowfin website, there is a good 360° deck cam. The T head height seems good.

i think you may have found the solution then, but how can the camera be raised to see over it and will this effect the gunsight crosshairs? i never messed with cameras before so i don't know how that stuff works.
