SH3 - GWX 1.03 Recognition Manual
For those who prefer a "hard copy" version of the ship recognition manual for GWX 1.03, I've put the ship silhouettes into a single pdf document, with a few embellishments to make it look more than just a set of cut-and-pasted images. These pages are meant to be printed double sided and then 3-hole punched; if you print single-sided, you may need to adjust the margins on the even pages to avoid punching holes in key info.
In addition, I've included a table that converts the "tick marks" in the periscope and Uzo reticles to range based on mast height. I've used this successfully to manually target ships instead of the stadimeter feature in the game. Please see the enclosed readme files for more information, including credits for the various members of the GWX team who created the silhouettes and ship ensigns. http://www.mediafire.com/?7uymxzamwle |
Thanks. I don't know if I really want to print that much stuff but it might be well worth it as the Recognition manual is sometimes a little uncomfortable to handle .
The range tables are a nice completion but I already got different version from somewhere else. Thanks anyways ;). |
How do you open files with a .7z extension?

Excellent work dmlavan   Are you planning a similar exercise with 1.04 when it's released? :hmm:
|
Thanks! I certainly will do an update once GWX 1.04 comes out... hopefully things will be quiet at work and I can sneak some time there to get it done faster ;) .
|
Nice one  Because there WILL be additional vessels :arrgh!:

Where did the other one come from ? |
Can't see merchants in reg manual
I do not have the "^" option any longer at the bottom right of the cover. How do you get to the Merchant section now.
|
Not sure what happened that you lost the ability. Do you have the ability to close the recognition manual at all? If you can get tot he "cover" of it, you can easily get to the merchant section.
|
DOH!! found it...
have to hit the "left arrow" on the cover when it's on Albania... |
Great work. But if the weak spots on its ship were marked , it will be divine.
I know there is a shipchart.pdf but all in one is better!;) |
