[REQ] Mod out Lifeboats/Downed Airmen.
 
Is this possible at the moment? Just to simply disable sunk ships/downed planes from spawning these little pain in the asses? While it's a nice touch, I seriously doubt they'd be generating a sonar contact nor would a watchmen be calling them out either as merchant ships.:down:

Just wait for 1.3... they already have adressed this bug along with sonar-contacts of sampans & co in their to-do-list.

you get renown points for picking up downed airmen so you shouldn't try to get rid of them.

the lifeboats look like flat cardboard cutouts to me, but maybe thats just my old video card doing it.

Afaik you cannot rescue pilots which you are not sent to to rescue... lifeboats have no affect on the gameplay at all... they just annoy you with radar and sonar contacts preventing you from using time accelleration.
