EU ban all indonesain air company in europe
Monday , the EU publish the news black list of dangerous air trasnsport company, all indonesian are added.
here the old list (March 2007) http://ec.europa.eu/transport/air-ban/list_en.htm |
Now there's a big suprise
|
AAAW what a shame, I was looking forward to seeing a few clapped-out 707s piloted by someone with 3 hours on type and a minimal understanding of STARs trundling over my rooftop leaving a shower of rivets in their path!
Sometimes the EU can be such killjoys. :D Chock |

I should start a duct tape distribution operation in the Congo. Sounds like a big money opportunity to me.:)

5 or 6 years ago, an Air Congo 737 came into the hangar for maintenance.
The rust! The RUST! I've never seen the likes of it, don't think it managed to take off. |
I believe this is one (or only) of the airlines that still allows smoking on board.
I did travel with them 5 years ago and was astonished to see people at the back smoking. |

Mostly around joints, the wingroot fillets and the landing gear. It looked like rust to me, at least the discoloration was there.

Friend of mine who worked at both BAe and Boeing told me some real horror stories about the condition of the PIA 747s he'd seen in for servicing. I know they're probably not the only ones either, but that's one airline I'd never fly on, that's for sure.
:D Chock |
Fly Indonesian if you want to role-play Lost, Cast away, etc.
