Understanding the grid reports...
Just finnished my first patrol (GWX mod), great fun btw.
Anyway I recieved several messages from other u-boats on their possition and convoy positions they spotted. However either I am just dumb or I don't fully understand the grid and the way it is reported on those messages. For example, one of the subs reported: 'Convoy in square 1253" And that was it. Another messages read: "began passage at square AM5137". I understand the AM, where to look for that on the map, but then it is broken down into two digits only, not four. So what am I missing here? Another message read a reported BB at "BF 1695" Again I didn't understand where exactly. Can anyone help me out, thank you! |
