Where did this data come from ?

I generally draw an 80 mile circle around the target and stay within that. It works for me.

UnSalted 06-21-07 03:36 PM

I use a fifty mile radius. Some use 100 from what I've seen.

What about Jawa sea?

Weather-guesser 06-21-07 04:01 PM

I've always used a 100 mile radius without fail. I just make sure I surface when first entering the patrol are or else it seems not to claculate your time patroling correctly.

Packerfan 06-21-07 04:25 PM

I've had the 100nm radius work for me each time.

Before patch 1.1 I got a message when entering a patrol area and it was somewhere between 55 and 60 miles radius. I've been using 60 miles ever since. That message has never reappeared.

How do you draw a patrol radius? :o

I'd also be interested to know where this data came from.

You can use the compass in the lower left corner of the Nav map screen (F3) to draw a circle of a particular radius.
