Bug/Known Issue? All Saves are Gone
 

I fire up SHIII-GWX today and under my profile there are no saves. I had about ten save points. I know I didn't delete them. It could be many things -

a. I was hacked
b. the program took a dump

Is this a known issue. I did save when I was submerged in a storm, I was not being attacked. I was not within 30 km of a radio contact for convoys. I have saved underwater before.

Any suggestions helps. Knowing other people have dealt with this helps too.

The only remedial measure I plan to do is back up the C:\Docs and Settings\My Docs\SHIII\Careers to a different location. I will do this at the end of every session. Whether it's maliscious or a bug, hopefully this is a good backup plan.
