New message received
 

Hi, my game didn't come with a manual boo

I'm getting "new message received" notifications frequently, how do I read them and is it possible to stop them switching off my time compression,

sorry for the noob questions

Press the M key and no you can not stop them switching off the TC you could try Silent Hunter 3 Commander.

Pressing the M button will take you to the message pad,click to read them,welcome to the board:up:

Nice ! I had the exact same problem. Just bought SH III (european discount DVD, without starfarce, yeay !) and got somewhat stuck on the naval academy's navigation course. namely, couldn't read those radio messages... Now I suppose I'll be able to complete the course instead of crossing the whole Baltic sea in vain :cool:

Lol I had the same problem myself when I first got the game!

But I printed off the A3 Keyboard map, it's worthwhile having a copy :)

You sure it's not in PDF format on your DVD? You might want to check. ;)

For basic functions you need the manual but all is not lost...
