direct2drive option
 

I hope this is not old news but it would seem direct2drive is once again making SHIII available. It looked to be removed for a while. Catch being for US, Canada & Mexico only. Now I thought that's just rude, so if someone in Germany or UK wants the game but cannot obtain or locate the DVD they are sol? Then again perhaps it is some marketing or sales hoops.
So, if someone from the UK coud browse direct2drive.com and search under PC for Silent Hunter and see if it's there or not please?

I am not trying to draw comments about which install or version is better. Of course the DVD is better but the game is still the game. I hit a half dozen places and no dvd at the time. The d/l has yet to give me problems anytime I reinstall. Just looking for ways to keep the game available for new players.

I found another budget copy of SHIII, patched out of the box to 1.4 and without Starforce.....
I am willing to buy and ship it for anyone (new) interested...the only restriction is that I have only managed to find 1 copy...so I can only ship one.......

I don't want to make any profit - I want to spread the love for the game-, if you pay me € 6,- for the game(= actual cost) + shipping, I will be happy to deliver.
