rave video

hi all,just had to reinstall windows on my pc,the hole lot.i,ve reinstalled SH4 but when i start it the "UBISOFT" and the "SH4 SHORT FILM" before the game starts looks more like i,m at a rave,all green and flashin lights.the sounds is ok tho.the pc can run the game with all settin maxed out and runs very well.i,ve all so reinstalled the game 2x and have the newest GFX drivers for my XT1950 PRO.any help please.:-?
does the game need realplayer or quicktime??

Sounds like you need the proper video codecs to see these intro movies.
When SH4 is installed it asks you to install the proper video codecs, make sure you do install these. Then it should work :)

ok done that,still the same....tried realplayer and quick time,no good:hmm:
p.s the game runs fine,is there a way to remove these video,s??

You'll need the latest Windows Media Player 9 codecs pack to play these files correctly
Yes, delete the following folder : X:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Movies\Intro

nice one m8,tried the codecs but no joy,so i deleted the intro folder.works like a charm......cheers.
