Stopwatch Program
Ok, this program I wrote doesnt fix the in-game stopwatch, but it does do all the work that that feature normally would. I just wrote it, and I'm a terrible programmer, but I'd love if a couple people would try it out and give me some feedback! If you'd like more information, view the readme.txt @
http://www.hoofinasia.net/wepcrewreadme.txt The program runs in the background, accepting your input, and spitting out all the relavent data. It works great for me, because I'm routinely pausing the game to do the Trig to figure out AOB, target speed, etc, so now I just let the program do it. Don't worry, it still takes all the skill to manuver, fire, etc. This just gives you a working speed, like the stopwatch should have. Also, unlike my earlier methods, it works when the sub is moving, and should work on any target, at any range, asuming you can get accurate range and bearing. If anyone would like to try it out, and give me the feedback I so openly welcome, please download the .rar file from www.hoofinasia.net I dont know if its possible or feasible to use these methods to mod a working in-game stopwatch, but if anyone has some serious experience with moding, beyond graphics and stuff, I bet we could fix it with a little work. Let me know, I'd adore a project like that. |
Oops, I bet I should have put this in the Mod Workshop. Sorry!
