I should say NO !
SH3Commander allows us to modify our crew list. Is it possible to keep a crew together after the uboat commander retires ? If so, how do you do it ?

I haven't found that option with SH3Comm.
You would have to 'rebuild' your crew after you start a new commander, by messing with the cfg files. Of course you have to consider the possibility that your crew might outrank the commander (it has happened...)

No one outranks the Captain. An L.I. or W.O. might have a higher rank, but the Captain has final say. He alone is responsible for the boat and the crew.
