Bush says Putin derailed Democracy
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6723671.stm
The immediate question that pops into my head is, will the Chechens still be classified as terrorists, or will the United States look at them as Freedom Fighters like they would have been during the Cold War? |
Defense system, my a*s, I support Russia. But now, european nuke targets in Putin's eyes, a fact that is not to take easily... I recommend Bush [like he would take any notice] to check his democracy a bit... A provocation from the US toward Russia has never been wise thing to do... But, I guess we have nothing to fear: Putin is a black belt martial artist....
As for the Chechens, I think they will be seen as a freedom fighters from Russia, and the US will support them and then.... http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/end.php |
So Bush said something. Well, and I put some laundry into my washing machine. I could give you the details, if anyone is interested.

I am, as long as it's not about Bush...

 Putins answer:
Of course, I am a pure and absolute democrat," [Putin] said. "But you know what the problem is – not a problem, a real tragedy – that I am alone. There are no such pure democrats in the world. Since Mahatma Gandhi, there has been no one." http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle1878792.ece |

It began in the early 90's, and I find it a disgusting hypocricy on behalf of the West to call them anything but terrorists. Especially given fairly official admissions of many of them being trained by the Taleban in Afghanistan, and the inclusion among them of a large number of volunteer Arab fighters (Al Quaeda, anyone?) And ESPECIALLY after Beslan. I honestly don't see how anyone with any common sense can call them anything remotely justifyable after that. I wrote a fairly extensive paper on the conflict in university. I'm really annoyed at how far the "our bastards" thing can be taken sometimes. |
I think we should keep pots and kettles away from each other, so this kind of hilarious situation doesnt arise.

If you continue to persue this policy of footwear gathering, then we shall be forced to target our Weapons of Mass Detergence on you, for the first time since the end of the Cold War. :yep: |
Don't forget the 45 minutes it takes to plunge the country into whiter whites

Bush says Putin derailed democracy, but then again, Bush also said all of these:
http://www.thefunnypage.com/bush/index.htm So I wouldn't exactly regard him as on the cutting edge of intellectual analysis. Then again, someone made a poem out of some of his stupid comments, and I quite like it, here it is: I think we all agree, the past is over. This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of madmen and uncertainty And potential mental losses. Rarely is the question asked Is our children learning? Will the highways of the Internet Become more few? How many hands have I shaked? They misunderestimate me. I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity. I know that the human being And the fish can coexist. Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream. Put food on your family! Knock down the tollbooth! Vulcanize society! Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher! |
I like that poem too....
It rocks! |
