A lot of them suffer from pretty bad vignette but are otherwise pretty good.

Almost if not every photo uploaded to the Flickr album seems to originate from this site. Read their FAQ page regarding public domain and copyright issues.

Tchocky is right! That photo is from 1992 or 93...

So far Letum's is the clearest from the 1940s.
