Two questions

One:

Do Neutral ships or planes you encounter send reports of your precense to nearby Allied units (DDs and planes)?

I got buzzed by a hurricane today in 15m/s wind, but it didn't open fire, I took a peek with the external camera, turns out it's Irish. I got submerged real quick as I always do with hurris but it had me worried for a while

Two:

Is there a way to get updates from your navigator when there's a change in the weather?

I was chugging along on the surface just north of Scapa in what I thought was heavy fog and heavy rain as well as 15m/s wind, it had been for days...
Turns out it was 15m/s wind but otherwise clear and no fog for hours....and there's me plodding along at 7knts on the surface:o in broad daylight
I usually ask for a weather report every six hours or so, and it gets tedious. a way for a report to appear autmatically if there's a change would be great, much like a radio report

1. I dont think that they give away your presence. I play at about 58% realism, right now. Later, as I get more experience, I'll bump up the realism. But I've been surfaced near a swedish tanker and the little U-boat that acts as your detect-o-meter didnt change from green.

2. I dont think you can make them give you forecasts. I think you can only do this by asking your watch officer when there is a navigator at his post.

Question 1: no, but sink one and every boat from that country you come across for the next 24 hours will consider you a hostile/enemy.

Question 2: no.

thanks :D

I knew about the 24 hour rule, but I try not to sink neutral merchants, and definitely not neutral warships

concerning the weather reports.....:damn: it was such a neat idea too, oh well we'll just have to do the manual query thing, and check more often...
