Enabling ship camera but no external camera
 

Hey guys,

I was wondering, as I am enjoying the game without the external camera, still, that old feeling creeps up. You know... :oops:

Now, a fair compromise would be to re-enable only the ship camera. Using no external (free) camera also means no ship camera apparently.

Is there a way? :hmm:

I've found something similar in Ducimus Tweak Pack for GWX:

-Compromised Realism cam. You can F12 free view around your sub, but can't use the Next/previous camera keys to sneak a peak at sonar, radar, and RWR contacts. Sort of a cheat really. This removes that temptation. Gameplay realism values have been changed accordingly.

Seems not exactly what you want but perhaps worth a try.

Another easy way : enable external views, but don't press F12 and press the boat cam key only once before returning to another view...:D

It's not very easy to hold back the temptation to F12/"next ship".:D

I only found out recently what , or . does :D
