I'm looking for help in finding Shokaku carrier; Gato sub without radar!!!!, left Brisbane stand speed, reached Celebes Sea, cruising close the pass between Mindanao and Celebes waiting for the task force to show up; but time goes by and still I'm unable to find the damn carrier, which should be escorted by some other ships (so I should find sooner o later an enemy task force!). Spent already a couple of days! Today is december 13. How long should I wait for it? Where is the damn Shokaku located? Which passage is the ship supposed to go through, close to Mindanao or close to Celebes? How to find it without radar? It is like looking for a needle hidden in a straw-rick!!! Has someone successfully completed this mission? I'm limited fuel so sonner or later my mission will end! :nope:

You should get intermittant contact reports.. its a small task force speed 9 kts. In real life, she went straight to Japan, the course she takes in this mission is not historical at all..
