Help!! Need clean install!
 

Like an idiot when I reinstalled SH3, then modded to GWX and WAC, I neglected to save a clean install. :damn: I'm now having problems with WAC, that I tried to fix by uninstalling and reinstalling the mod through JSGME, but am still having problems (lock-ups). I'd rather avoid having to totally uninstall SH3, then reinstall all the mods and tweaks I've made.

If someone would be so kind as to burn a clean install (doesn't have to include 1.4b patch) for me onto a DVD I'd be most appreciative!! PM me if you want. :D :up:

The problem you are having is because you should not install WAC on top of GWX. It's either WAC or GWX, but not both of them. No matter how many times you try, you will get the same result.
Aside from this tip, there is not much I can do to help you, since regretably I live at the other side of the big pond (South America).
Hopefully someone else might be able to give you a hand with this.

No need to be sent one

I take it you still have the game DVD ?

Rename your existing SilentHunterIII folder ie

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII ---->C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3WAC

Whack the DVD in the drive
Hit install
Hit repair

Now you will have a new SilentHunterIII folder
