Question about crew promotions
 

Okay, I have installed GWX and started a career on it. Now I am on end of patrol 6 and have question about crew and their promotions.

When I looked through SH3 Commander all my seamans have got so much experience, that they (nearly - only 2 on senior stage) all get the Chief Seamen-promotion. And nearly same thing for warrant officers. 11 senior warrant officers, 3 chief warrant officers and even(!) 1 warrant officer.

Okay, I am noob and I need good crew, but is this too good? Date is 29 March 1940.
Also 3 of my officers are Lieutenant seniors and SH3 Commander says, that I should replace them, so they could get their own boats. How I do this?

Not sure as I havent used SH3CMDR for ages, but one way is to just resign the officer and recruit a new one. ;)

To allow your officers to have their own boat you press the release button in the SH3Cmd crew menu

Release button? Where is that? I am on that Crew of U-XXX screen. There is crew list on left side, and on right side is Crewman details. Only buttons on screen is Auto-fix (Is this it?), Apply, update all, crew list (shows html document) and close.

You're correct I was not clear. I think it's the Auto-Fix button, but I'm not 100% sure as I never let anyone go from my ship :arrgh!:
