[REQ] Realistic buoyancy!
I know this has been discussed by some of you boff's out there, but I can't find the thread now.
Please can someone fix the boat's movement through heavy seas. It's a bit of a j/k, really. At times, I can see clean under the length of the whole boat when it crosses a large trough..The props spend more time out of the water than in it. I'm sure they weren't made of balsa wood...(Balao class - 1526 tons surfaced, 2424 tons submerged) I know this is technically an eye-candy mod, and it probably won't be considered a valid use of time by some ppl round here, but, pretty please, you know you want it :) Perhaps someone can point me to the thread about this so I can see if they have made any headway. Thanks! |

Ace! Thanks Capt. Cox. That is, indeed the post I was looking for.
Now, as I'm a bit dumb, do I have to tweak that using the Mini Tweaker? If so, don't I need a tweak file (.txt) for that or can I just edit the scene.dat directly? I'm a bit of a newbie to self-modding, tho I did manage to use the minitweaker to fix the radar 180-270 thing (with an amazing tweak.txt file provided by someone with a much larger brain than me.) Thanks for any info..I can't wait to get this fixed! |
Please ignore that last post :) Just found the tweak file
