That was pretty odd. I hope to god you don't really do that, otherwise I'd have to agree with everything you say! :p |

what was that?
some sort of "break dancing" or something? aye chihuahua:rotfl: :rotfl: |
THAT is minor league (local) Professional Wrestling... American style.
Think Hulk Hogan on a budget... or drunk teenagers hitting each with bottles and tables in the back yard. Although, that one guy is quite good at the acrobatic stuff. You guys know its fake. :88) Cheers, David |
That "one guy" who is constantly flying around - is a "guynesse". ;) :D
Never saw wrestling that was not a faked show. That does not mean that top physical fitness and a lot of acrobativ competence is not needed for that stuff. Although I personally find it simply stupid, and not even entertaining. Even Baseball seems to be more exciting than wrestling :88) (Skybird looking around with a worried face, hectically sneaking out of Dodge and hoping nobody is shooting at him). |
Personally, I'm a fan of Mixed Martial Arts... now that's some serious beating.
The UFC, although the best known, seems to be amongst the least technical, prefering instead to feature fighters who like to take and dish out beatings. The Japanese original, Pride FC, has much more technically able fighters, and is even more brutal since they allow standing elbows (as I recall) and head strikes (including knees) to grounded fighters, so I prefer Pride when I can get it. Cheers, David |
