Another question about Kiel Canal
 

Hello once again fellow Kaleuns:
Now that I read the thread with a similar title as this, I notice that there is a function that allows me to set the course trough the Kiel Canal automatically. :damn: So far I have been doing it manually, being the process somewhat long and boring. Could you please be so kind to tell me where can I find the option to do this automatically and, if possible, the complete procedure?

What mods are you running

Cant speak for any of the others but in GWX if you bring up the search patterns through the navigator
Click on " Kiel outbound "
Then click on the navigator again then " return to course " and you are on your way

Do all the above BEFORE moving at all
If you use SH3 commander you can set the TC to 128 for proximity to land so you can whizz through if you like
Or take a slow sail along the canal

GWX & NYGM both have this feature IIRC.

FYI there's a WHOLE section on the Kiel Canal in the GWX manual (v1.03 at least) including a whole page on this feature. :yep:
