Ok, i think ive had about enough of the reindeer games here.

if i continue to mod this game, it isnt going to be on subsim. Too much politics, too much bull****, and as Lehman aptly put it, ill never be free of it, as much as i wish i could, i know it will never be.

Let it be known that if anyone wants to continue this mod, you have my full blessings to take it as your own. You can cite the orginal creater if you want, it woulld be nice, but i dont expect you to.

I need a new hobby, im sick of the BS attached to this one.

Oh hell.

I dont know fully who Decimus is but I know his mod has been very good. What I'm concerned about is with all the negativity that this forum has developed are we now losing our Mods?! 'Cause if thats true were really going to be screwed whether there is a patch 1.3 or not.

UBI.probably offered him a job. Look at the positive. quiters never win,& winners never quit.

Actually, I have empathy for Ducimus here....i've been in this community since around Jan/Feb 2005 (which is not long admittedly) but recently it has started to degenerate. There is far too much sniping between modders, made worse by the moderators over zelous use of the "close thread" button.

Wouldn't it be nice if SubSim.com could calm down a little....sigh :nope:

danlisa 05-21-07 05:33 AM

Why is there a thread dedicated to this?

Please! This is the third or fourth time Ducimus has left the Subsim Modding scene and each time he comes back. It's wearing thin.

With 99.9% of the moderators having their heads up the SHIV's butt? I know one conflict that could be ended with only one question by a moderator, but as it seems, it wont be happening. Fine, let's keep the threads boiling then.

terrapin 05-21-07 07:06 AM

I'll leave now, too

terrapin 05-21-07 07:08 AM

...aah, wait, I have to sink another french merchant. Better I'll leave tomorrow.:-?

I think this is just another unnecessary thread really. It just brings out the ugly from people who don't know when to shut up.

And I sincerely hope that Ducumus comes back after a much needed break. His mods are always appreciated as much as any others.

What is that supposed to mean?

In other news....

Pre-congrats to fredbass for his upcoming 1,000th post.

Sorry, I thought a small drop of sunshine was needed here. :sunny:

Great attitude danlisa, jcwolf leaves and you are falling all over yourselves to keep him here, this guy leaves and the attitude is " don't let the door hit you on the way out ", real classy.

GWX is not the one mod to rule them all, you guys should lighten up, you take yourselves way to serious.

Shame, because it is scaring alot of folks away.

No sir, let's open it. Can't throw out something like that and run away. I see no boiling here.

Ducimus, take two aspirin and start modding in the morning.
