I was out on patrol in the Jawa Sea and haven't seen a damn one of those little b@stards. Where are they? How much tonnage are they worth?

I'm gonna get all 20mm on the critter when I see one.:rock:Maybe make a nice soup or roast.

Last time I went thru the Jawa Sea I let my guard down and gave the crew a few hours of sleep on the bottom in 30 fathoms. Woke up to find the bow planes, rudder, 4.50" gun, one of the twin 20MM's and my radio aerial gone.

Be careful Captain, there be thieving little monsters sailing those waters.

If you actually find one of the rare "Aquatic Sandcrawlers", they are rated at 10,000 tons. Generally 1 or 2 torps set to run fairly shallow, impacting each track assembly will send them to the bottom.

It normally takes half your torpedo load to even sink a medium merchant

No laser beams, but... Yeah, nuke warheads :p I'm using WW3 weapons in WW2 time, sorry :p We, Russians, are deadly! :arrgh!::rotfl:

I remember modding my AA gun in SH3 to fire bullets that caused massive damage. They would sink any ship with one hit.

Combine that with the huge ammo load I put on it, and the super quick firing rate... you get the picture. Sunk an entire convoy in seconds. Just dont get too close to ships (they fire at you with the same AA gun).

Haha, nah, no silencer (could be fun sneaking behind large convoy and take'em out 1 by 1 without DDs even noticing it :rotfl:lol).

My realism setting is 100%! I'm not bull****ting :D I just found how I could have it at 100% while it's actually somewhere near 5-10% or so. Not to have the feeling and to brag that I play at 100% realism, but just for the fun factor plus 100% renown (if you play at 0% realism you get 25% of renown).

And yeh, it IS fun :p no stress at all. I think I'm the only man at this forum who doesn't even think about patching my SH4 to v1.3... I have fun as it is! :arrgh!:

And yeh, I have about 32000 AP shots and 32000 HE shots with my Deck Gun. Reload time is set to something like 0.1-0.25 sec.
