Handing Out Medals Question
 

I finally managed to complete an entire patrol without getting killed, or cutting it short just to be able to install a new mod. Anyway, even though I didn't complete the assigned objective, I still managed to recieve a medal.

While I was in port, in the "office" screen, I noticed when I checked the crew management screen, my guys recieved medals, as well as promotions. The problem is, I can't issue either to anyone. I click on a guy, and try to drag a medal over him , but when I release the mouse, the medal, or promotion just returns to its' appropriate slot. I don't recieve any notice telling me that "You need so and so points" bla bla bla. Any clues as to why I can't issue medals or promotions?

I started the second patrol already, and had to forget about the medals and promotions. Real bummer!:cry:

Only the highlighted guys are eligible.

One little thing that tripped me up at first is that you must put the mouse cursor, not the actual medal over the "highlighted" crew member and drop it.

The actual medal floats to the left of the cursor.

Counter intuitive to SH3 (shrug) :hmm:

As to having started a 2nd you still have the in base before mission autosave. You can fall back there and drag and drop.
