If you want to use the download portion of the site it requires a separate registration than the rest of the site:

click Download Central in the left menu
scroll to the bottom of the popup window and click Register
fill in the information
click Create Account
follow the remainder of the instructions you're given by the site

glad its not just me! have set up a second account, different user name different Email address same problem? Am using ie7 is there a setting there that I am missing?

I've got a problem too....

After registering at the download central, I use the link come with the verification email to activate my account, but nothing happened, it just show me the frontpage of the download central.
It still told me "Your account is not activate. If you have just registered your account please check your email inbox for the activation email." if I try to login.

Have tried with 2 email address, 2 ISP, 3 computer, 3 browser (Opera 9.2, IE 6.0, Firefox 1.5.0.4), no combination works.....

And as SteamWake said, the frontpage of http://picturehost.realsimulation.com/ is some kind of strange.

Not Again, his sites always getting hacked.

Yep, I'm in the same boat as wahoho.
I tried 4 email addresses, 3 names, 2 browsers, 2 firewalls, 2 anti-viruseseses.
Activated my UBRS account without a problem.
Can't activate DLC.
Once - for the hell of it - I tried (re)registering with the same details, just to check, and was told that the DLC account was already active.

Can we find thitcho.mamtom and hurt him?
