Graphics problem - oval gauges

Hi All,

I am having problems getting gauges to look round!

I have set my monitor image as wide as possible without losing any screen image and tried many different resolutions without sucess.

I also downloaded the most current geforce drivers.

Anyone have some good ideas?

I have XP w/ 2 gig Corsair mem.
Geforce 7900 gs Nvidia card w/256 mem
Intel dual core 2 chip E6600
Sony Trinitron 21" monitor.

Thanks.

Your problem is likely caused by not running the game at a resolution your monitor supports natively but is being forced to emulate that resolution. Check your monitor manual for the supported resolutions.

In your display properties go to the Adapter tab and click List all Modes. You will see the resolutions and scan rates your monitor reports to the OS as being valid.

Also, if your desktop looks ok, run the game at the same resolution.

mine's fixed @ 1280*1024. first time that's happened too. something 1.3 should reenable too, and AA

As a general rule, if something that is supposed to look round looks almost like an egg standing up (Oval in the vertical), you're trying to run a widescreen mode on a 4:3 monitor. If it looks like an egg resting on it's side (Oval in the horizontal), you're trying to run a 4:3 mode on a widescreen monitor.
