How do I edit weapons data in SH4?

How do I edit the load time of deck guns, the damage a deck gun shell does, and the damage of a torpedo? I am using Real Float Boat 1.24 and find these values to be all very unacceptable, and I would like to make some changes but I don't know how.

I am not new to editing data files for games, but I have no experience with it in this game. You can consider me intermediate level in your explanations. Thanks a lot guys.

Post this question in the SH4 Mods forum. Thats where the modders that
you want to answer this are located....
