I'm not sure how to go about uploading etc.

Anyone help? :D

Pack it in JSGME format!

Zip or Rar it of course.

Use a file hosting site like
www.filefront.com
or
http://www.savefile.com
There are more out there, these are only examples ( I use Filefront myself)

Upload your stuff to the file host, you will get a url link to your uploaded file that you then can include in your post...and off you go.

How can I get a screenshot into a jpg format?

Also how did you modify the lo-res version dds?

Just press CTRL + F11 in game.
Screenshots are saved in game folder.
Open bmp screenshot in paint and use "save as..." and choose jpg format.
