Pls Help Noob ! 2 Mod´s questions
 

Hi,

i just reformatted (cheapest way to have a new PC), and did a clean install + patch 1.4b (latest on Sh3 official website).

I wanna try this GWX mod.

1. How do I install it ??
2. Any list of what it will do to my game version ? (new features etc)
3. Can it be played with around 65% realism (unlimited fuel, external views) ?
4. Can I uninstall it in case i dont like ? And how to uninstall ??
5. I have P4 2.8Ghz, 1 Gb RAM, X800pro 256Mb Agp 8x. Enough ??

4. No, you cannot unistall it. If your HD is large enough, make a backup copy of the entire data folder. If you don't like the mod just replace it again.

Trust me you wont want to uninstall it

5) Yes that's enough. SH3 is RAM & GFX intensive, your card is the same as mine & I can play with full AA/AF. get 25-30 FPS in port & 80-100 at sea.

If you can, at some point, get another 1GB RAM, it makes ALOT of difference.:yep:

As already mentioned, when you first install SH3 1.4b, copy the program folder to a safe location on your hard drive, that way you have a 'clean' copy when needed. All you have to do is copy & paste it over the one you're using and you are ready to go.:up:
